The T6 includes an audiophile class pre - amplifier with dual triode valve amplifiers to to add real tone and depth to your music and is ideal for use with MP3 / MP4 or other compressed audio formats. As well as having an inbuilt iPod dock with T6 can be used with any other source including TV, CD, laptop or desktop computer, games console, internet radio, DAB radio etc via the 3.5mm input on the rear of the unit. It's also surprisingly effective plugged into your flatscreen TV and whilst not quite as powerful as the Orbitsound T12 soundbar still represents a massive improvement in sound from TV and DVDs compared to the built in speakers in modern flatpanel televisions.

The preamplifier uses two dual triode thermionic valves as the first amplifier section giving exceptionally smooth audio response. The remote control provides power, mute, next/previous/scan, play/pausefunctions. Power is provided from the included active loudspeaker (below). Rotary volume control on front of pre-amplifier controls soft volume on ipod and gain of pre amplifer section (also controlled by remote).
